Geneviève met de vijf masterclass-studenten, vlnr (tegen de klok): Francesca, Anne, Ursula, Raquel en Carla.
Zoals eerder aangekondigd, komt de vermaarde altvioliste Geneviève Strosser op 11 mei naar Den Haag om, in samenwerking met Codarts Rotterdam en de DVS, een solo-recital en een masterclass te geven. We lichten hier het programma nader toe:
14.00 – 14.45 Solo recital
Geneviève Strosser brengt het volgende programma van solostukken voor altviool:
- Franco Donatoni: Ali (1977)
- Helmut Lachenmann: Toccatina (1986) – Nederlandse première van de altvioolversie
- J.S. Bach: Cello suite no.2
- Giacinto Scelsi: Manto (1957)
15.00 – 18.30 Masterclass
Vijf studenten zijn voor de masterclass van Geneviève Strosser geselecteerd, op basis van ingezonden video’s, CV en motivatiebrief. In alfabetische volgorde:
Anne Coppoolse, Master-student van Gisella Bergman bij het Fontys Conservatorium Tilburg. Speelt Der Schwanendreher van Paul Hindemith
Carla Regio, Master-student van Richard Wolfe aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Speelt de Ligety sonata (ovb).
Raquel Sánchez González, 3e jaars Erasmus studente (uit Spanje), Codarts Rotterdam, studeert bij Karin Dolman. Speelt: Elegie van Stravinsky.
Ursula Skaug, 1e jaars Bachelor student aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, studeert bij Mikhail Zemtsov. Speelt: Arne Werkman, suite op. 52.
Francesca Wiersma Vilalta, 2e jaars Bachelor student bij Codarts Rotterdam, studeert bij Karin Dolman. Speelt: Hoffmeister concert or Bach 1e cellosuite.

Publiek is welkom! Prijs voor recital + masterclass is €7,- (DVS vrienden: gratis).
Het aantal plaatsen is echter beperkt, dus het kan verstandig zijn om een stoel te reservereen via e-mail (link).

As previously announced, the famous violist Geneviève Strosser will come to The Hague on May 11th to give a solo recital and a masterclass, in co-operation with Codarts Rotterdam and the DVS. In this post, we explain the programme in more detail:

Five students have been selected for this masterclass, based on applications consisting of audition video, C.V. and a letter of motivation. The lucky students are, in alphabetical order:

Carla Regio, Master student at the Conservatory in Amsterdam with Richard Wolfe. Repertoire: Ligety sonata (tbc).
