Het 50e International Viola Congress (IVC) vindt plaats in Xi’an, China, van 13 t/m 17 Augustus 2025. Het is voor het eerst dat dit congres in China wordt gehouden! Het thema voor dit congres is The Silk Road through the four strings of the Viola – East, West, Tradition, Novelty. De hoofdartiesten zijn o.a. Ning Shi, Atar Arad, Garth Knox, Paul Silverthorne, Haofu Chang en Antonello Farulli. Hier is de website van het congres:
Je kunt vanaf nu (tot 1 november 2024) via de website een voorstel indienen voor een bijdrage aan het congres (lezing, recital, workshop enz.).
